Mr. Johnson is the original founder and the current majority owner of the three companies combined under the AIS family of companies. During the past twenty-five years in the industry, Mr Johnson has built the core companies and developed a team of highly experienced FAA certified radio technicians and Sales & Support staff. He is a private pilot with considerable knowledge of the aviation industry.

Mike Sutphin - Vice President / General Manager & Owner

Mr. Sutphin is a seasoned senior executive with more than 25 years experience in sales and marketing, operations, customer service, human resources, and finance. His background includes business-to-business sales management, strategic planning for start-up operations, turnarounds, and joint ventures. During his previous executive roles, he successfully grew sales revenue, increased operational efficiency and productivity, reduced costs and improved operations for companies including Del Monte Foods and AT&T. He is a private pilot with considerable knowledge of the aviation industry.

Ron Anderson - Controller

Ronald R. Anderson, CPA, MBA, Certified Public Accountant, State of Texas License #080635 holds a Masters degree in Business Administration & Management from the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas and a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration and Accounting Degrees from Ohio State University, Columbus Ohio. He has a proven track record of management of fast growth organizations. His experience includes strategic planning and decision making on Executive Committees, AXAPTA, MAS 90 and Peachtree integrated accounting systems, commercial insurance, property tax, sales and use tax, corporate and payroll tax returns, cash management, budgeting, financial analysis, manufacturing operations, LAN Administration and ISO 9000:2000 quality management system. Prior to joining AIS he was the Controller & Treasurer for Dosmatic USA located in Carrollton, Texas from 1987-2005.

Kevin G. Summerlin - Aerospace Instrument Support General Manager

Kevin G. Summerlin has 20 plus years experience in the Avionics industry. An Air Force veteran his pervious positions included minority owner, Avionics Manager and Sales Manager for Aurora Avionics in Waco, TX . Prior to his position with Aurora Avionics Kevin was the Installation Manager for Hartsell Avionics. His experience in Operations & Installation Management serves him well in his current position with Aerospace Instrument Support.

Mike Reeves - Business Development Manager

Michael J. Reeves is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin holding a business degree in Business Marketing. Mike has spent many years of his professional career in the Telecom and High Tech marketplace and is well versed in technologies such as Voice & Data communications as well as SONET / SDH fiber optic backbone systems. Serving as a senior level application engineer, he assited in the application design and technical requirements for many Department of Transportation projects, Oil / Gas pipeline control and management networks, and provided training to engineers who were responsible for the management of these networks. Mike has worked for Mr. Sutphin in two previous companies and is a valued and trusted employee. Mike’s responsibilities include all marketing functions and he doubles as the network administrator of all systems.
